Fidela Hinojosa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over five years of experience in individual, group, and family therapy, focusing on clinical implications of trauma, anxiety, depression, and anger management. With more than 25 years of experience working in public-school systems, juvenile justice, and residential treatment facilities, Fidela has developed a deep understanding of the challenges faced by individuals from all walks of life.
Fidela holds a Master’s degree in education from the University of Texas and a Master’s degree in social work from Our Lady of the Lake University. She believes in utilizing evidence-based modalities to provide personalized care to her clients. Fidela integrates a range of approaches including motivational interviewing, psychodynamic, attachment, family systems, multicultural, expressive arts, play therapy, EMDR, DBT, and CBT. She takes a culturally sensitive, trauma-focused, client-centered, and strength-based approach to help her clients achieve their goals.
Fidela understands that making a change can be a daunting task, and she is dedicated to empowering her clients to take those first steps towards a more fulfilling and happier life. She believes in supporting her clients on their journey, and her warm and empathetic nature creates a safe and welcoming space for clients to explore their concerns.
